CVTU Conservation Banquet Dinner - 2010 RECAP

The annual banquet was held at River Crest on March 27th, and it was a great fund raising event for CVTU. The board would like to thank special guest speakers Dan Keifer and Attorney General Mike Cox for educating us on the threat of Asian Carp. Special thanks to Richfield Industries, Soroc Products and MHA for sponsoring the banquet. We also need to thank all of our supporters that donated to the banquet; your continued support is greatly appreciated in these bad economic times. Lastly thanks to 120+ banquet attendees this year helped us raise several thousand dollars that will be used in our conservation efforts. We hope the night was truly a great event for all that attended, without your support there is no banquet dinner. Congratulations to all the raffle winners at the banquet and to the winner of the bamboo fly rod, Ken Koster.

The CVTU Board Members would like to thank banquet Co-Chairman (Alan & Mark Johnston) and the committee members (Tom Losiowski, Carl Maldonado, Steve Burnham, Ken Koster, Mark Schwalbach), and Ed Roden) for planning the banquet this year. All funds raised will be used on our restoration, and education projects within the Clinton River system and other local state efforts. We would like to also thank the volunteers (Amy Johnston, Mary Ann Johnston, Elizabeth Olsen, Frank Gosiewski, Josh Roden, Barb Koster, Cassandra Dobek, Cheryl Burnham, and Jane Giudici) that helped us out the night of the banquet.
